On November 29, 2018, Women in Energy and Energy Kinetics teamed up to support our industry’s future. Attendees gathered at Energy Kinetics’ headquarters in Lebanon, NJ for a factory tour and networking reception.

Energy Kinetics is a leading manufacturer of innovative, high-efficiency heating- and hot-water systems. Attendees had a unique opportunity to learn more about the hard work and skill that goes into manufacturing.

Roger Marran, President of Energy Kinetics, took the time out of his busy day to share the history of this family-owned business. He talked about how his father, John Marran, spurred by the first energy crisis in the 1970’s, invented the System 2000 to help customers affordably and efficiently heat their homes.

Roger then led attendees on a tour of the Energy Kinetics factory. He guided them through the manufacturing process and introduced members of the Energy Kinetics team along the way. Attendees marveled at the attention to detail and care that goes into making Energy Kinetics’ products. They also gained a greater perspective on heating systems and our industry.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Energy Kinetics, the event proceeds funded Women in Energy’s scholarship program.
