New S20W 20-gallon tanks have industry-best recovery rates and high efficiency
NTI Boilers, Inc. introduces the S20W high-performance wall-mounted indirect water heater. With ultra-high performance and unprecedented space-saving installation flexibility, the S20W offers heating contractors multiple benefits for a variety of new installations as well as for retrofit projects.
Featuring an industrial size stainless-steel coil and with its capability of 445 GPH first-hour recovery rate, the 20-gallon S20W exceeds most industry standard 50- and 65-gallon indirect tanks. Efficiency is further improved by a CFC-free 2” ultra high-density EPS insulation that reduces standby losses. The S20W is characterized by high-quality 444 stainless-steel material for the coil and the tank, completely pickled and passivated inside and outside to remove all surface contaminants and restore the chromium oxide layer.
Each tank comes with a low lead thermostatic mixing valve that is ASSE 1017, ASSE 1070, cUPC, and CSA125.3 approved, a 10k NTC tank sensor with embedded UL353 limit switch for the insertion into the stainless steel well, and a 150 psi Temperature and Pressure (T&P) relief valve.
Flexible Installation Options
The S20W provides contractors with design flexibility. An extremely small footprint makes the tank ideal for limited-space installations. The S20W is compatible with all hydronic boilers on the market or existing installations. Inspection and cleaning are easy through a hand hole at the top of the tank. An optional floor stand is available for applications where the tank needs to be floor mounted.
