The #CaleffiClassic photo contest was in full swing this past October on Caleffi North America’s Instagram feed.  We’re proud to announce the grand prize winner:  Michael Flynn (@flynnstone1) of Service Professionals (Union, N.J.).  He also received the most votes by our Coffee with Caleffi™ audience during a recently held webinar, determining Flynn the champion.  He selected $1000 worth of Caleffi product for the grand prize.

Flynn’s impressive installation featured beautifully piped NTI TFT201 boilers, an 80-gallon indirect water heater with 11 heating zones and a Caleffi hydraulic separator.

“The #CaleffiClassic contest held on Instagram was incredible. Competing against really great tradesmen was fun. Being chosen and coming out on top was a great accomplishment,” said Flynn. “I really do put my whole heart into my work and it’s amazing to know that it’s noticed by others. The Caleffi brand truly delivers; nothing short of excellence shines through with the company. They know how to make a quality product. The 2” hydro sep we used on the winning job was a breeze to install. It made it easy to achieve hydraulic separation on the twinned NTI boilers from the heating zones. We will continue to use Caleffi products on our projects.”

Ontario, Calif. — The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is accepting applications and seeking technical experts to participate in a task group relating to hydronics.

The scope of the Hydronics Task Group is to review all hydronics proposals submitted as published in the 2019 Uniform Solar, Hydronics and Geothermal Code (USHGC) Report on Proposals (ROP) monograph and develop public comments for technical committee consideration.

Task group members will participate via conference call or web meeting, provide their perspective on the code, and assist in drafting recommendations for action by the USHGC Technical Committee. Applicants are not required to be members of the USHGC Technical Committee.

Those interested in participating in the Hydronics Task Group can apply at the following URL: http://forms.iapmo.org/iapmo/committee/app_task_group.aspx

The deadline to apply is Aug. 31.

Developed and subsequently republished at the conclusion of each three-year code cycle, the Uniform Codes are designed to provide consumers with safe plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems while, at the same time, allowing latitude for innovation and new technologies.

Interested individuals may contact Taylor Costea at (909) 218-8126 or by email at taylor.costea@iapmo.org.
